What are women really going through today?
Women can’t take it anymore: they’ve got to juggle work and family life, they’re burdened with household chores, they’re struggling with divorce, they’re starved by diets, terrified of their weight and wrinkles, they’re getting the message from society that they’re never beautiful enough, successful enough, good enough to be a mother or a wife.
It’s time to take stock of the female condition and try to understand what’s going wrong. Why does a successful career woman remain single? Why the woman who marries in love is, five years later, on the verge of divorce. Why neither men nor women find their feet in a relationship. Why women are so afraid of menopause. Why today’s society leaves them no choice but to be thinner and younger. Why it puts so much pressure on them.
